Here is a before shot of the base of the
chiminey. Where areas near the trim has been dry rotting for a
while.

The siding on
this is rotten at the roof line and the trim is really starting to
show it's
age.

Not much to the
chase around the chiminey pipe. Without the side on the framing
isn't very
sturdy.

The rain has
caused a hole big enough for birds to build their nests. The
soffit board had to be taken down due the water getting around the
chiminey
flashing.

The base plate and several studs had to be
replaced. I had to brake out the concrete to get the base plate
out.
